The place is at a height of 160 meters above sea level on the slopes of the Westerwald , but still in the Bergisches Land nature reserve . The Hanfbach flows southwest of the hamlet . Neighboring towns are Hüchel in the northeast, Depensiefen and Büllesbach in the east, Dahlhausen in the south, Wellesberg and Wiersberg in the southwest, Wiederschall and Hermesmühle in the northwest and Derenbach in the north.

history

Until August 1, 1969, Zumhof belonged to the municipality of Uckerath , as part of the municipal reorganization of the Bonn area , Uckerath, and thus also the town of Zumhof, was assigned to the then new non-official municipality "Hennef (Sieg)".
