Kningelthal is a district of the city of Hennef (Sieg) in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The hamlet is at an altitude of 120 to 140 m above sea level. NHN on the slopes of Bergisches Land and the Nutscheid .
history
In 1910 there were the households Ackerer Johann, Peter and Wilhelm Brend, Ackerer Elisabeth Klein, Ackerer Peter Kremer, day laborer widow Daniel Müller and factory worker Adolf Scheffler in Kningelthal .
Until August 1, 1969, the town of Kningelthal belonged to the Lauthausen community , as part of the municipal reorganization of the Bonn area, Lauthausen, and thus the town of Kningelthal, was assigned to the then new, non-official community "Hennef (Sieg)".
