Wiersberg is a district of the city of Hennef (Sieg) in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

location

The hamlet lies at a height of 220 meters above sea ​​level on the slopes of the Westerwald . Neighboring towns are Wellesberg in the east, Sand in the south, Waschpohl in the south-west and Kurscheid in the north-west.

history

In 1910 there were the households of factory workers Peter Faßbender, Anna Hombach without trade, Ackerer Johann Jungbluth, Ackerer Johann Josef and Peter Kirschbaum, Konrad Linke and Ackerer Theodor Schmitz in Wiersberg.

Until August 1, 1969, Wiersberg belonged to the municipality of Uckerath . As part of the municipal reorganization of the Bonn area , Uckerath, and thus also the place Wiersberg, was assigned to the then new, non-official municipality "Hennef (Sieg)".
