The Browning Arms Company is a US- based arms manufacturing company known for its firearms, bows , hunting gear, and fishing tackle. It was founded in Utah in 1927 and is still based in Morgan, Utah today .
history
The company was founded by will of John Moses Browning , one of the most important developers of the arms industry in the 20th century, to exercise his numerous patents . Many models were later built under license by other companies, including Colt , Remington , Miroku and Winchester .
The Browning Arms Company is now part of the Herstal Group ; the connection to the Belgian arms manufacturer was established during Browning's lifetime.
Products
The range of firearms includes pistols , rifles and shotguns . The High-Power pistol and the BAR rifle are particularly well known .
In addition, hunting accessories, clothing and fishing utensils are offered. The production of shoes and boots, primarily for hunting, has become a further business area of the company.
