Bruce Gowers

Bruce Gowers (* 1940 ) is a British film director and is involved in the production of the US television show American Idol . He returned to the production team in 2009 after leaving the team in 2008 due to an argument with Nigel Lythgoe .

Gowers shot his first music video for the band Queen and their song Bohemian Rhapsody , which gained international recognition. In 1986 he received the Grammy Award for Best Music Video, Long Form as a director for Huey Lewis & The News: The Heart of Rock 'n Roll .
