Bruce Malmuth

Bruce Malmuth (born February 4, 1934 in New York - † June 28, 2005 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American director and actor .

Malmuth began his career as a documentary filmmaker while serving in the United States Army . Upon his release, he directed sports broadcasts for the New York Yankees and produced commercials .

After turning a segment of the episode film Fore Play in 1975 , he made his feature film debut in 1981 with the Sylvester Stallone thriller Nachtfalken . In 1986 he filmed the Mary Higgins Clark thriller Where Are the Children?

As an actor, he mainly took on minor supporting roles and appeared, among other things, as an announcer in Karate Kid .

Malmuth was married once and had a son. He died in 2005 of esophageal cancer.
