Bruce lane

The Bruce Spur is a deep sea ridge in the Mawson Sea of the Southern Ocean . It is located off the Knox coast of the East Antarctic Wilkesland .
Participants of the Australasian Antarctic Expedition (1911-1914) under the direction of the Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson discovered the formation on January 14, 1914 while traveling on the expedition ship Aurora under Captain John King Davis . The US Advisory Committee for Undersea Features (ACUF) confirmed the name in August 1963. The namesake is not known.
