The Brudzinski sign is a neurological sign named after Jozef von Brudziński (1874–1917), a pediatrician from Warsaw . The sign is tested on the patient lying relaxed on their back. It is considered positive if the legs are reflexively bent in the knee joints while passive forward bending of the head .
