Bruna Esposito

Bruna Esposito (* 1960 in Rome ) is an Italian sculptor and installation artist who lives in New York and Berlin.

Life

Bruna Esposito was born in Rome. She attended the Faculty of Architecture at La Sapienza University from 1979 to 1980 . From 1980 to 1986 she lives and works in New York. Esposito works in dance with Batya Zamir and Sally Gross. She meets Lucio Pozzi and Donald Judd , realizes theater performances and happenings, and works with artists, dancers and musicians. She is a 1984 participant in the Independent Study Program of the Whitney Museum of American Art . In 1987 she moved to West Berlin.

She has received numerous scholarships and prizes. Esposito exhibited at the documenta X in Kassel in 1997 .

Bruna Esposito uses numerous techniques. She realizes sculptures, drawings, photographs and collages, video installations, multimedia works, site-specific, public and acoustic works.
