Bruno Neves
Bruno Neves (born September 5, 1981 in Oliveira de Azeméis ; † May 11, 2008 ) was a Portuguese cyclist .
Life
Bruno Neves was considered a hopeful sprinter. He started his career in 2002 with the cycling team ASC-Vila do Conde . From 2005 he drove for the Madeinox-AR Canelas team . In 2005 he was able to win a stage in the Tour of Portugal . At the GP Internacional Costa Azul 2006 race , he was ninth overall. He also won the Prémio de Abertura race in the same year .
After a serious fall during the Clássica de Amarante cycling race on the N15 between Amarante and Lixa, he died on May 11, 2008 on the way to hospital.
