Bruno Saltor Grau (born October 1, 1980 in El Masnou , Catalonia ) is a Spanish football player who played until June 30, 2012 at Valencia CF in the Spanish Primera División . After his subsequent move to England to Brighton & Hove Albion , he played 225 league games there, rose to the Premier League in 2017 and ended his active career two years later.

Player career

Born in Catalonia, Bruno Saltor comes from the youth of Espanyol Barcelona . In the 2001/02 season Bruno made his first steps in professional football with the Catalan second division club Gimnàstic de Tarragona . This season, he had 14 operations, increased his team but in the Segunda División B from. For this reason Bruno went back to the B-Team Espanyols.

In 2003 he got the chance to move to UE Lleida . Already in the first year he was promoted to League 2, where Bruno developed into a regular player. However, he could not prevent relegation in 2006. In the summer, Bruno therefore moved to league rivals UD Almería . With the Andalusians he got promoted at the first attempt and there too he had a regular place. The defender was also able to prevail in League 1. After three successful years at Almería, he signed a three-year contract with Valencia CF before the 2009/10 season .

After his contract expired in the summer of 2012, Bruno moved to the English second division team Brighton & Hove Albion . There he became a regular player straight away and in his fifth year he was promoted to the Premier League. In the English elite class, he completed 39 league games in two years before ending his active career at the end of the 2018/19 season.
