history

The place was founded in the middle of the 18th century in the area of the Brzezno manor . A few decades later colonists of German origin moved to Protestant denominations. They were mostly the generational surplus from the surrounding Bruchdörfern, their ancestors mostly from the Neumark (Landsberg and Driesen) and the Netzegau. From 1770 the Protestant church in Władysławów ( Rosterschütz ) was visited, but entries can also be found in Konin , Turek , Zagorów and Żychlin . In the Posener Land the population rose rapidly from 1800, also due to immigration from the German Reich, and in 1815 a wave of emigration to Bessarabia began . From 1830 further large emigrations took place, first to closer regions through the establishment of villages, then to the south of Kalisch / Lodz, in 1860 to the east to Volhynia , in 1870 to the Lublin region and in 1880 the first emigrants to America and Canada were among them.
