Bufferin (also: Gerard Malanga Reads Poetry ) is a Underground - experimental film by Andy Warhol . It was shot in 16mm format in Warhol's studio The Factory in early 1966 .

The 35-minute colored sound film shows a poetry reading by Warhol's assistant Gerard Malanga . Outside the field of view captured by the camera, Rona Page (his girlfriend at the time) makes critical remarks about the texts and distracts him.

The film is significant in terms of film history because it is the first to use the strobe cut technique invented by Warhol .
