BIDCO Uganda Limited Football Club BUL FC for short is a Ugandan football club from the Uganda Super League, Uganda's top division. The association is a farm team from the Kenyan association BIDCO United from Thika , whose president Mithul Shah was killed during the attacks on the Westgate Shopping Mall in Nairobi .

history

The club was founded in 2007 as a works sports team for the Kenyan Bidco Oil Refineries Ltd. founded under the name BIDCO Football Club in Jinja . He played mainly in the regional leagues of Uganda before being promoted to the second-rate big league for the first time in 2010 under the new name BUL FC . BUL FC reached 2nd place in the Big League under coach Richard Makumbi in the first season of the second division and was promoted to the Uganda Super League for the first time. In May 2012 they separated from the promotion coach Makumbi and appointed defender Arthur Kyesimire as playing interim coach, before the former Ugandan international Kefa Kisala was appointed as the new head coach on July 10, 2012 . Kyesemire moved back as a player in the team and was next to goalkeeping coach Bright Dhaira playing assistant coach of Kisala. After the season they finished seventh under Kisala and thus achieved a considerable place.
