Bulaotun
Bulaotun ( Chinese 不 老 屯鎮 / 不 老 屯镇 , Pinyin Bùlǎotún Zhèn ) is a large community in the north of the Miyun district of the government- direct city of Beijing . Bulaotun has an area of 189 km² and 15,810 inhabitants (end of 2010). Just south of the village of Bulaotun, halfway to the reservoir, is the Miyun Observatory of the National Astronomical Observatories of the Chinese Academy of Sciences .
history
The historic core of the greater community, today's inhabitants Community Bulaotun ( "defensive settlement Ageless") of the same administrative village . In 1962 the people's commune Bulaotun was founded here, which was dissolved again in 1983 as part of the reform and opening- up policy and converted into a municipality . In 1990 Bulaotun was upgraded to a large municipality. In 1993, the 8 km northeast of Banchengzi and the villages under it came to Bulaotun.
