Bulldog was a US rock band formed in 1972.

Band history

Cornish and Danelli already knew each other as members of the band Young Rascals , with whom they had various hits. Danelli was also the namesake of special drumsticks from the manufacturer "Ludwig". Turi was later, in 1980, together with Cyndi Lauper a member of the band "Blue Angel". Billy Hocher, Eric. J. Thorngren and John Turi also formed the band Pepper together. In 1977 they released an album of the same name on RCA Records.

Bulldog released an LP produced by Cornish and Danelli at Decca (DL 75370) in 1972 , which was labeled with the band name. It reached the charts as well as the resulting single No , which just missed the top 40. It remained the only hit parade of the band. In 1973 the album was also released in Germany ( MCA Records Maps 6299). After separating from Decca, the band switched to Buddah . The second album Smasher was released there , but despite good reviews it was a flop. Then the band broke up in early 1975.
