Association of German Bookbinder Guilds

The Federation of German Bookbinder Guilds (BDBI) was founded in Dresden in 1880 . He supports the bookbinding businesses of individual and series production organized in the German trade and represents their interests on an economic and political level. It promotes professional exchange and professional information in the interests of its members. Paul Adam was the first managing director.

The federation has been called Bund Deutscher Buchbinder eV since 2009 (based in Aachen ).
