The association was founded in 1998. He is a member of the Working Group of Catholic Organizations in Germany (AGKOD) and the Catholic Academic Work of Germany (KAD). It is included in the public list of the associations registered with the Bundestag (lobby list) .
The aim of the association is to deal with religious-ethical principles of a Christian image of man and value system as well as questions of legal-ethical further education. The members have submitted to a binding code of ethics. The association is bound by its statutes. The organs are the general assembly and the board. The seat of the association is in Cologne.
