The Federal Commercial Academy and Federal Commercial School Bad Ischl (HAK / HAS Bad Ischl) is a commercial academy and business school in Bad Ischl .

history

On June 29, 1973, a construction contract was agreed between the town of Bad Ischl and the state school board for Upper Austria to set up two commercial school classes for the 1973/74 school year. On September 10, 1973, the two commercial school classes with 63 pupils started school in Kalvarienberggasse 7 as a branch of the BHAK / BHAS Vöcklabruck. At the beginning of the 1974/75 school year, the school moved to the new building of the Bad Ischl Federal School Center at Grazer Straße 27. In this school year, the first year of the commercial academy began with 37 students as a branch of the BHAK / BHAS Vöcklabruck. In 1977 it became independent. In 2008 the school moved into the completely renovated and expanded federal school center.

Architecture and buildings

The school has a library, a gym and a sports field.

Educational work, equipment and offers

The HAK / HAS Bad Ischl has 3 classes and 57 students in the commercial school and 11 classes and 252 students in the commercial academy (status: 2014/15).

In 2014 the school was awarded the special prize for the Austrian School Prize.
