Federal Kurfürsorge

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Federal Kurfürsorge refers to institutions of the Federation of War Blind People in Germany , in which war blind people can take advantage of spa and recreational care. An institution of the type mentioned will exist in Brilon in 2020 ( Kuranatorium Hochsauerland ).

With increasing distance to the world wars , the number of those who, as war-blind, use spa and recreational care facilities, decreases. This caused and has the consequence that the corresponding facilities were or will be closed: Up until the beginning of 2013, the Söcking sanatorium for the war blind in Starnberg allowed spa and recreational stays. This also applied to the spa sanatorium at Königsberg in Bad Pyrmont , which was closed at the end of May 2016. In addition, there were corresponding facilities in Berlin ( recreational and recreational center for the blind on the Kleiner Wannsee ) and Braunlage ( senior citizen and care center BKD health clinic ).
