The Evangelical Lutheran Deanery Altdorf is one of the ten deaneries of the Nuremberg Church District . Acting dean is Martin Adel.
history
The parishes Altdorf , Altenthann , Entenberg , wet , Leiburg and quickly included in the Reformation to the city of Nuremberg . At that time Winkelhaid was a daughter church of Altdorf. In 1524 Nuremberg introduced Protestant teaching. The Reformation was introduced in Oberferrieden in 1528 by the Margraviate Brandenburg-Ansbach . The current parish of Eismannsberg became Protestant in 1556 as a daughter church of Traunfeld under the rule of the Duchy of Pfalz-Neuburg . The Counter Reformation took place between 1628 and 1650 . From 1653 the Catholics were given the right to use the church. The Schwarzenbruck parish was established in 1959. The community center with the Martin Luther Church was inaugurated in Postbauer-Heng in 1998.
The Bavarian Dean's Office Altdorf was established on December 7, 1810 with the Nuremberg parishes and the Ansbach parish of Oberferrieden. In 1879 Eismannsberg von Pyrbaum was added.
