Federal Association of the Glass Industry
The Bundesverband Glasindustrie eV (BV Glas) is the leading organization of the German glass industry . The association represents around 80 percent of the glass manufacturing companies in Germany and represents their environmental, economic and energy policy interests. This includes companies in the areas of container glass, flat glass , special glass as well as glass processing and finishing. These are companies from Germany, but also international companies that have a branch in Germany. Frank Heinricht has been President of the Federal Association since November 2015 .
The association brings together four different specialist groups that represent the different glass industries:
