The Federal Association of Accountants and Controllers e. V. (BVBC) is a German association for accounting and controlling with over 5000 members. The association was founded in 1976 on the initiative of Horst Walter Endriss initially for accountants , in 1994 it also opened up to the professional group of controllers. As a specialist professional association, the Federal Association of Accountants and Controllers represents the interests of its members in relation to politics and business. It also offers job-related, supraregional further training and qualification measures.

Association structure

The federal association has its seat in Bonn and is represented by another office in Berlin. The federal executive committee (presidium) administers important departments such as B. professional representation of interests of employed accountants and controllers, political representation of interests of the self-employed and further education. The association is made up of eleven regional associations, which are independently registered associations, represent the BVBC at the state and regional level and take care of members on site.
