The Federal Association of the German Gas and Water Management (BGW) is a former industry association of the German gas, water and wastewater management.

The BGW was merged in 2007 in the Federal Association of Energy and Water Management . Before that, the association had around 1,300 member companies ( natural gas and drinking water suppliers , wastewater management companies ...) including many municipal utilities and other public companies.

The main office was in Frankfurt am Main until 1978 , then in Bonn and from 2003 in Berlin , where the successor BDEW is also based.
