Eva Irrgang

Eva Irrgang (born April 21, 1957 in Dortmund ) is a German CDU politician . She is a full-time district administrator for the Soest district .

Life and work

Irrgang completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk . After graduating, she first worked at IBM . After that, she worked in the management of the family-owned IT company until she was elected full-time district administrator on September 12, 2007 . Irrgang lives in Wickede (Ruhr) . She is married and has a son.

Political career

Irrgang has been a member of the CDU since 1991. In 1994 she was elected to the district council of Soest and at the same time to the council of the municipality of Wickede. From 1999 to 2004 she was deputy district administrator. In 2005, until the election as district administrator, she was parliamentary group leader of the CDU parliamentary group in the district council of the Soest district. She has been a member of the Westphalia-Lippe Regional Assembly since 2004 . In June 2011, Irrgang was appointed by the Federal Government Commissioner for Migration, Refugees and Integration , Minister of State Maria Böhmer , as a representative of the municipal umbrella organizations in the Federal Advisory Council for Integration Professions.
