Josef Raulf

Josef Raulf (born October 7, 1933 in Warstein ; † July 18, 1993 in Lippstadt ) was a German local politician and honorary district administrator ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending school, Josef Raulf was employed by the Deutsche Bundespost from 1948 , most recently as a senior civil servant. He was married and had four children, including the musician and composer Dirk Raulf .

Raulf was a member of the district council of the Lippstadt district and, after the regional reform, a member of the district council of the Soest district . From October 29, 1971 until the regional reform on December 31, 1974 he was district administrator of the Lippstadt district and from May 21, 1975 to October 26, 1989 district administrator of the Soest district .

Moreover Raulf was on numerous committees of the County Association of North Rhine-Westphalia operates and from 1979 until 1989, member of the Regional Assembly of the Regional Association of Westphalia-Lippe .

On March 9, 1981 he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon and on November 4, 1988 the Federal Cross of Merit 1st class.
