Wilhelm Riebniger

Wilhelm Rubbed Niger (* 19th April 1943 in Hamm ; † 23. April 2018 ) was a German politician of the CDU . He was initially an honorary and then a full-time district administrator for the Soest district .

Life

Riebniger's signature

Riebniger graduated from secondary school in 1960 . He then attended the commercial college and completed training as a forwarding agent in 1963. Initially, he worked as a commercial clerk, from 1964 to 1965 he was a soldier or reserve officer. From 1966 to 1990 he worked in the church administration service, most recently as head of administration in the Soest district church office.

On April 20, 2002, Riebniger received the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon for his long-term commitment to local politics .

Political career

Riebniger had been a member of the CDU since 1970. From 1988 to 1991 he was chairman of the CDU city association Lippstadt. From 1975 to 1994 he was a member of the City Council of Lippstadt , including parliamentary group chairman from 1982 to 1994 . In 1979 he was elected to the district council of the Soest district and was a member of parliament there until 1998.

From January 15, 1991 to July 31, 1998, Riebniger was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He moved up in the 11th electoral term on the reserve list of his party, in the 12th electoral term he was directly elected in constituency 141 Soest II.

On November 4, 1994 he became an honorary district administrator and with the municipal reform in North Rhine-Westphalia on August 1, 1998 full-time district administrator. He held this office until April 25, 2007.
