The Bundesverband deutscher Discotheken und Tanzbetriebe eV (BDT) is a professional association for discotheque operators .

The association represents members in politics, society and at GEMA . It is represented with its President in the DEHOGA Presidium. The federal association also organizes advanced training seminars on industry-specific topics. Among other things, he is a co-initiator of the nationwide DJ driving license .

The current president is Hans-Bernd Pikkemaat, the honorary president is Hennig Franz.
