Colored franking

As Buntfrankatur is a special form of mixed postage on postal consignments ( letter or postcard hereinafter) different in two or more stamps value levels or colors of a postage stamp series , in particular a definitive stamp issue were bonded.

While modern brands mostly already have a greater color in the individual values, the often single-colored brands of classic editions gain significantly in charisma in the combination of several values. Correspondingly, the most aesthetically impressive colored frankings come from this period.
