Bunty Bailey

Therese "Bunty" Bailey (* 1964 ) is a British actress , dancer and model . She became known for her role in the music video Take On Me by the band a-ha .

Life

Bailey was active as a model and dancer from the early 1980s. In 1985 she was hired by director Steve Barron as the leading actress for the a-ha music video Take On Me , which attracted attention due to the innovative mixture of rotoscopy and real film at the time . With Morten Harket , the singer of the band, Bailey was then in a relationship for a while. In the follow-up video The Sun Always Shines on TV , she took on the same role.

This was later followed by roles in films such as Dolls , The Couch and Spellcaster . In the late 1980s, she retired from acting. In 2008 she was seen in the crime film Defunct . In 2019, she met Morten Harket again for a making-of video for Take On Me .

Baily has two sons and lives in Windsor , Berkshire .
