The Castle Blood Mountain is an Outbound hilltop castle on the 715 m above sea level. NN high Blutsberg near Altmannshofen , a district of the municipality of Aichstetten in the Ravensburg district ( Baden-Württemberg ).
The castle was not far from the Rochus Chapel on the Blutsberg . The builders of the castle are unknown, possibly it was the lords of Altmannshofen. They were first mentioned in 1201 and were marshals among others of the Staufer .
From the former castle complex in the spur there are still three moats and wall remains.
