The castle Bolsternang is an Outbound Wasserburg in the area of today's living space Bolsternang in Großholzleute , a district of Isny in the district of Ravensburg ( Baden-Wuerttemberg ).

The builders of the moated castle were the Veringian ministerials of Bolsternang, named in 1279 and 1291 , which can point to a time of construction in the 13th century. A memorial plaque for the castle researcher Otto Merkt from Kempten was also attached to it, the inscription reads: Once the tower of the Bolsternang moated castle .
