The castle Dachsberg is a Outbound Höhenburg 3000 m southeast on a hill near the village of Obermarchtal in the Alb-Donau in Baden-Württemberg . It is located at around 605  m above sea level. NN .

The castle belonged to the places Dachdorf, Ober- and Niederdachdorf (805 Dhahdhorf ). Desert south of Obermarchtal between Upper Marbach and Dachsberg Castle. Alb-Donau-Kreis about 15 kilometers southwest of Ehingen.

In the 12th century the place and the castle were owned by the Counts of Veringen and local knight families.

From the castle, which was built on a 7 meter high castle hill before 1200 with a 24 x 7 meter oval castle complex, only small remains of ramparts and moats can be seen.
