The castle Elsig is an Outbound castle in Elsig , a district of Euskirchen in North Rhine-Westphalia . It was probably located in the middle of the place where an estate is still called a castle today, but it is more recent.

The two-part castle is mentioned for the first time in 1649 as "adlicher seeß" in the possession of the Jülich Chancellor Baron von Goltstein . Then it reappears in the Codex Welser in 1723 . The castle went under in the 19th century.
