The castle Entenstein even castle Endenstein or Alteburg called, is a Outbound ramparts on the outskirts of the city Rodalben in district Südwestpfalz in Rhineland-Palatinate . It is located on a plateau 334 meters above sea level .
The hill fort consisted of three outer protective walls and two trenches , some of which are still up to two meters deep today. There was probably a picket fence in the inner wall .
