Jürgen Keddigkeit

Jürgen Keddigkeit (* 1946 in Kaiserslautern ) is a German historian .

Keddigkeit studied regional history , medieval and modern history and German at the universities of Heidelberg and Landau . He completed his studies with a Magister Artium .

From 1983 to 2011 he was a research assistant at the Institute for Palatinate History and Folklore , where he was department head for Palatinate history. His main research interests are the Palatinate regional studies, castle studies and the Second World War . His work also includes the planning and implementation of numerous exhibitions and symposia and the scientific management of excursions and seminars.
