Graneck Castle

The castle Graneck is an Outbound hillside castle in the village Ammerbuch - Entringen . It was north of Entringen near the place at a point that is still called the Bürgetle (i.e. Bürgle) or middle Bügetle today. A small castle, more like a fortified farmstead, was located down in the village, Graneck Castle was the middle Bürgetle and up on the Hohenentringen mountain. In the middle of the 19th century, foundations and building rubble were occasionally encountered there . In Entringen the field name "Mittleres Bürgetle" still exists, which refers to a mountain spur east of the church, where the wine press and the wine press place are located today.

Martin Crusius wrote that the Lords of Validlingen lived in the house.
