In 1468, the high master of the order, Heinrich Reuss von Plauen, pledged the castle and the land belonging to it to Hans von Weyer . Since then it has been the center of a private estate economy. In 1525 Duke Albrecht von Prussia enfeoffed nobleman Heyno von Döberitz and in 1552 Andreas von Flanns with the estate. Around 1590 the manor complex was rebuilt and expanded.

In 1830 the castle building burned down. The stones were used for the new manor building, which was built in 1868/69 in the park on the site of the former outer bailey.

As a result of the Second World War , Wohnsdorf and Agnesenhof came to the Soviet Union with northern East Prussia . "Gross Wonsdorf" and Agnesenhof were given the common Russian name " Kurortnoje " in 1950 .
