The castle Möhringen is an Outbound castle in the corridor castle fields in Spitalhof in Möhringen , a suburb of Stuttgart in Baden-Wuerttemberg .
The castle was probably built by the initially noble local nobility of Möhringen, who were known from the 12th to the 15th century and probably Calwian Ministeriale . The castle was built before 1180 on the orders of Welfs VI. destroyed. Kaltental Castle can be assumed as the legal successor .
