The castle Münchweiler is a Outbound castle in the town of Glan-Münchweiler in Kusel ( Rheinland-Pfalz ).

The castle was first mentioned in 1344 and again in 1363. Raugraf Philipp von Neuenbaumburg was named as the owner .

From 1468 to 1801 centuries the castle and the lands belonging to it were under the rule of the noble Von der Leyen family through marriage to Georg von der Leyen . Today a street of the same name in town reminds of it.

It is not known when the castle was destroyed. In any case, it cannot be found today.
