Mietingen Castle

In addition to the Mietingen moated castle, Mietingen Castle was a second medieval aristocratic seat in the municipality of Mietingen in the Biberach district in Baden-Württemberg . It is possible that there was a third castle complex a little south of it. Today Outbound Castle Mietingen was 750 meters southwest of the local Church.

The castle was destroyed in 1442, in that year it was only mentioned as a moat . The formerly square castle complex had deep moats on three sides .
