Oberstetten Castle

The castle Oberstetten , even Schlossberg called, is a Outbound hill castle (Motte) at the Schlossberg 5.5 kilometers south of the city Ochsenhausen in the district of Biberach in Baden-Württemberg .

The Motte was probably built by the Lords of Oberstetten around 1128, was later owned by the Lords of Mundeldingen and was destroyed around 1392. Remains of the hill are still preserved from the former castle complex on a small castle hill with an arched moat .
