Rohrck Castle

The castle Rohreck is an Outbound hilltop castle on a mountain nose on the northern slope of the depth of Bach in the corridor Burghalde 70 meters west of Rohracker , a modern suburb of Stuttgart in Baden-Wuerttemberg .

The castle was built between 1220 and 1270 by the Lords of Bernhausen and mentioned in 1286. The castle and the village were sold to Württemberg in 1365. In 1474 the castle, of which no remains have been preserved, is only called the castle stables .
