The castle Strassberg is an Outbound castle on the site of today's Protestant Church in the district of Strassberg the city of Plauen in Vogtlandkreis in Saxony .

The castle was the ancestral seat of the bailiffs of Straßberg and was first mentioned in 1280 as "castrum destructum" and was already described as desolate .
