Burgdorf crime days

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Burgdorf Crime Days is a literature festival in Switzerland. It was founded in 1993 and has been held every two years in Burgdorf ( Canton of Bern ) since 1994 . The organizers write:

"For ten days, crime fiction will be indulged in all its manifestations: Famous crime fiction authors will be involved in over 50 events, musicians will reveal the dark side of their souls, crime fiction will flicker across the screen, murder on stage boards and follow literary traces, crime scenes will be investigated , fictional and real crimes discussed, unsolvable cases solved. Specialists and experts verbally cross the blades, and in the crime scene the red juice flows until late into the black night. "

The Burgdorf Crime Prize , endowed with CHF 5,000, has been awarded since 2000 . In 2004, the Burgdorfer Krimitage Association received the culture award from the German-speaking Commission for General Cultural Issues in the Canton of Bern .
