The Postal Gallows is an Outbound hilltop castle on a 540  m above sea level. NN high hill on the edge of a flat depression of a former pond southeast of Moosbeuren, a district of the municipality of Oberstadion , in the Alb-Danube district in Baden-Württemberg . The castle hill with a height of 6 to 7 meters and a diameter of about 20 meters has been preserved. The name Galgenberg is due to the fact that there was a gallows on the castle hill until the beginning of the 19th century .
