The castle wall of Klempenow , a district of the municipality of Breest in the Mecklenburg Lake District , is located 800 meters northwest of Klempenow Castle in a field on the Tollense.

The as lowland castle pronounced Slavic castle wall has been largely eroded by agriculture. Only a slight depression in the wall still bears witness to the fortification of the wall. On site, ceramic shards testify to the existence of the complex in the older Slav period. To protect the settlement, a semicircular wall was built, which must have been around 200 meters long, as can be seen in aerial photographs. The other sides of the castle were only fortified with palisades, as there were sloping valleys everywhere. Two more Slavic castles ( Groß Below , Hohenbüssow ) follow at a distance of two kilometers each further upstream towards the northwest. In ancient times, the Tollense River must have been a natural boundary that was monitored by these castle complexes.
