The Treskow castle wall , a residential and commercial area in the town of Neuruppin in the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district , is located southeast of the town on a pointed peninsula in Lake Ruppin . It is the stables of a Slavic low castle , a Slavic rampart , in the former tribal area of the Zamzizi in the Ruppiner Land .
The Niederungsburg can only be recognized as a flat oval castle plateau about 80 meters in diameter in the colder seasons. In summer the area is overgrown and more difficult to access. The former Wallburg is exactly opposite the village of Gnewikow. Since 1981 the Treskower Burgwall run has been taking place regularly in the forest area known as the "Protected Park Burgwall".
