Bury My Sins is a hardcore punk / metalcore band from Bad Hersfeld and Gotha .

Band history

Bury My Sins was founded in 2004 by Marco, Ben, Bonzo and Thomas (all formerly Eyeless View ) and Nico. Some concerts were played with this line-up and a first demo was recorded.

In 2006, the first album Today's Black Death was released on Circulation Records (including Heaven Shall Burn , Narcissus , Faust Again , Comecloser ). After recording the album, drummer Bonzo left the band to continue playing bass with Comecloser. He was seamlessly replaced by Christian. In this constellation, the concerts played could be extended to the European area.

The following year bassist Thomas left the band. Especially for the occasion, the song Waving Flags was recorded in Times of Fire and filmed as a farewell. The video was produced by N13-Media, who already staged a video clip for the song About Hope (published on Today's Black Death). The post at bass was filled by standards.

Bury My Sins' second album, King of All Fears , was released on Guideline Records in late 2007 . The former label Circulation Records had already put all new releases on hold and a short time later ceased operations. In the spring of 2008 Nico finally left the band and was replaced by Harald on guitar. During this time there was also a separation from Guideline Records.

In late 2009, new songs were recorded in the Rape of Harmonies studio for the third release. The EP titled Rats will be released by Shark Men Records from Leipzig (including War from a Harlots Mouth , Miles Away , Zero Mentality ) and Damage Done Records from Prague (including Modern Crimes, Flowers for Whores, Lahar) as CD and 10 Inch Vinyl released.
