Business and Innovation - Steinbeis Executive Magazin (B + I) was an independent, practice-oriented and theory-driven business journal that appeared from 2010 to 2013 . The publisher and editor-in-chief was Frank Keuper from the Steinbeis University in Berlin .

The aim of B + I as an independent, transfer-oriented, business management journal was to become a melting pot of research and practice. Scientifically founded, theory-based or empirically oriented original contributions in German and English were equally taken into account in B + I. In addition, contributions that deal with the current state of research on a specific topic were also welcome.

B + I was published four times a year by Gabler-Verlag between 2010 and 2013 with topics from the following areas:

Interviews, interdisciplinary case studies and an opinion mirror rounded off the categories mentioned.

The contributions in B + I were assessed in a double-blind-review process in accordance with international standards. B + I was classified in the VHB-Jourqual 2.1 with the ranking of level E (4.9).

After it was discontinued in 2013, the magazine operated under the name Management + Innovation for two issues at Logos Verlag in 2014 , but no further continuation was planned.
